After graduating from Delaware Valley College with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture Chuck started working for his father Charlie Gale in 1970. When Charlie Gale passed away in the spring of 1997 he became president of Gale Nurseries. Having worked in design-build over the past fifty years Chuck has worked on Municipal, State Parks, Commercial and Residential projects. Charlie and Chuck accumulated a plethora of awards throughout the years. The Wilkinson Sword of Excellence was awarded to them in 1985 by the Royal Horticultural Society in England. Between 1970 and 2000 Gale Nurseries were awarded the top honor of Best of Show numerous times by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society for their exhibits at the Philadelphia Flower Show. Chuck’s work has been featured on the covers of Main Line Today, Garden Design and Architectural Digest.
