Gale Nurseries started in 1927 as a result of the onset of the great depression. Charles H. Gale II lost his job as a glasscutter and decided to work with his brother Harry who was an estate gardener along Philadelphia's water front.

Gale Nurseries designs and builds gardens in the Philadelphia region and has been doing so for over seventy years. Our process begins with a consultation and site visit with the client. During this initial meeting we get to know about the client's lifestyle.
